Mother’s Day was recognized across the United States this past Sunday and individuals all over celebrated their mothers and showed them how much they loved them. I LOVE to grocery shop and I do my primary grocery shopping at our local Vons! I remember when the Vons Store was being built here in Nipomo and there were many who were so excited to have our very own grocery store in town. Heck, now we even have a Vons Gas Station!!! Not only do I feel like I get the best prices at Vons (versus other leading grocery stores), I now participate in a program from Vons called Just For U. Chef Boyardee Comes to Our Home!

I grew up eating the yummy foods from Chef Boyardee – Ravioli, Beefaroni, and other favorites! As a mom of 3 boys, I have continued to the Chef Boyardee tradition in our home! I was recently invited to hold a Chef Boyardeelicious Recipe Party with my family and friends. We were provided all sorts of goodies, including a Chef’s Hat (Sam laid claim on that), Aprons (an adult-sized and kid-sized), mixing bowls, Le Creuset bakeware, recipe cards, and coupons for products (estimated $150 value)! Yesterday was Sammy’s birthday, but we celebrated it today at our local Chuck E Cheese. My little boy is now 4 years old!!! Crazy how the time flies by! Well, I have been talking with my boyfriend’s mom for a little while now about the cake she wanted to make for Sam’s birthday. She made him the most awesome character cake I’ve ever seen!
