A few months ago, Frank and I headed to CES in Las Vegas. There were so many awesome things to look at and play with at the conference. As a blogger and mother, I’ve had way more experiences with technology than I ever had before…and I love it!

Something that Frank and I had been talking about putting in our car was a Dash Cam, but we just hadn’t found the right one to use. At CES, we discovered the THINKWARE Dash Cam F750. It’s an awesome camera and I highly recommend it! Not only is it cool to have because it records (ya know – for those awesome things you see when on the road and wish you could show your family and friends), but it also has features that help keep you and your passengers safe while on the road!

Check out this video from one of our drives using the Dash Cam F750!

Here’s a road rage incident that I just caught on my Dash Cam F750!

This is the advanced, high-quality dash cam that you deserve. The Dash Cam F750 not only acts as a reliable witness in the event of an accident, but it can also prevent them from happening. The built-in GPS enables safety features such as the Safety Camera Alert, which recognizes the road and direction of travel to notify you of impending red light cameras or speed cameras to keep you from penalty points and higher premiums. At the same time, the Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) will warn you that the vehicle is approaching a slow-moving or stationary vehicle ahead – all around giving you a safer driving experience.

Such advanced technology that once could only be seen in the best luxury sedans is now available
in our dash cams to provide convenience and safety while aiding drivers on the road:

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) – Alert drivers when vehicle strays out of lane

Front Collision Warning System (FCWS) – Alert drivers when approaching too closely to the vehicle ahead to avoid collision

The Safety Camera Alert is an exclusive safety feature that powers THINKWARE Dash Cam to be on continuous alert for photo enforcement locations on your driving routes while recording high quality videos at the same time. THINKWARE Dash Cam provides active warning for these 5 types of road safety cameras.

Red Light/ Speed Camera / Red Light & Speed Camera Alert

With the built-in GPS and safety camera location database, Thinkware Dash Cam actively monitors the vehicle location to inform you of approaching traffic enforcement cameras such as red light cameras and speed cameras along your way.

Voice guidance together with visual alert** on the dash cam screen will alert drivers of any approaching traffic enforcement cameras along the route. Thinkware Dash Cam employs a two-step warning system where the first warning will provide distance remaining from your current location to the camera location and the second warning will alert you when you reached the exact traffic camera location.

Cultivate safe driving habits with Thinkware Dash Cam. Start from driving at the correct speed.

* only available on selected models
** only available on selected models with LCD screen

Average Speed / Mobile Speed Zone Alert

Drive with confidence knowing your exact speed and the locations of traffic control zones in real-time. Let Thinkware Dash Cam remind you the locations of average speed cameras and mobile speed camera zones while you remain focused on driving.

Voice and visual alerts are activated when entering the speed enforcement camera zones. The dash cam will continuously guide you along the speed controlled stretch of road, thereby reducing the danger of speeding.

What’s more, Thinkware Dash Cam is designed to recognize the direction of your route and automatically disable warning for irrelevant speed and red light cameras in the opposite direction so that you are not distracted by unnecessary or false alerts.

Know where the traffic enforcement cameras are. Safe driving starts with Thinkware Dash Cam.

* The video records both the location and speed information of the drive. The recorded footage can be accessed via the PC viewer where you can easily review and replay your driving routes on the map.

* The Safety Camera Alert database in Thinkware Dash Cams contains a comprehensive coverage of safety cameras across regions including North America (approximately 10,000 camera locations across the region) and the United Kingdom (approximately 18,000 locations). The safety camera database is constantly updated to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

* Some discrepancies may exist due to addition, removal and/or relocation of the traffic enforcement cameras so be advised that all motorists should observe safe driving practices at all times.

With a 1080p Full HD Front and Rear camera, the F750 is able to record pristine quality video that captures the crucial details of any incidents you may encounter while driving. Recording at 30 frames per second without dropping a single frame, you can rely on the F750 to capture every moment of your commute in high definition – be it an accident or an unexpected hit-and-run.

Your car is subject to diverse conditions and environments, whether driving at night, under strong direct sunlight, or entering and exiting a tunnel. The F750 has various image correction processes such as WDR, Super Night Vision, Smart AE and many other functions that are optimized for the product, leaving you with
a clear and accurate footage under all circumstances.

Intelligent Auto Exposure

The F750 is equipped with an automatic exposure control which always ensures ideal exposure and superb image quality in any lighting conditions.

Smart Focusing System

A combination of a high performance camera and the Sony Exmor CMOS image sensor makes sure that the recorded video footages are always accurately focused for maximum clarity even in rain or foggy conditions.

Noise Reduction System

The Advanced Noise Reduction System improves video quality by removing unwanted noise that occurs when driving in a tunnel or at night.

ACCE (Adaptive Color & Contrast Enhancement)

ACCE automatically adapts to the surrounding environment and adjusts the image color and contrast level to enhance video quality.

See more with a 140˚ Wide Angle View

The THINKWARE Dash Cam F750 has a 140˚ wide viewing angle for maximum visibility, capturing a wider view of the roads.

Strong Processor for Speedy Performance

The high specification Ambarella A7 CPU minimizes power consumption while providing optimal performance.

Tested and proven in various high quality action cameras, the processor ensures a stable and uninterrupted performance while the F750 performs various tasks.

Built-in GPS tells you the whole story

With a built-in GPS antenna, the F750 embeds speed, time and location data to the recorded videos to give you all the crucial information you need after an incident.

The user can also review their driving route and history with the integrated maps function in the THINKWARE PC Viewer.

* The feature is only available for models equipped with a built-in GPS antenna, or with an external GPS antenna as an optional accessory.

The Dual Save technology is specially designed to save recorded footages in both the microSD memory card and the built-in internal memory in incident recording, safeguarding against the loss of data in the aftermath of a severe collision. In the event that the memory card is damaged, the Dual Save Technology guarantees a backup copy of the video in the internal memory.

* The Dual Save Technology is activated when a certain level of impact is detected (Impact sensitivity is adjustable using the PC / Mac Viewer).

Built-in WiFi for Easy Control + Real-time View

Now WiFi-enabled, you can easily control, manage and configure the settings of your dash cam with a smart phone.

Through the THINKWARE Dashcam Mobile app, the F750 provides a truly convenient way for you to view
real-time recordings, download, access or delete recorded videos all on your mobile phone.

Active Impact Monitoring

The Active Impact Monitoring System utilizes a 3-axis G-Sensor to continuously monitor any impact to the vehicle, ensuring that all incidents are recorded.

#Thinkware #Technology #CES #CES2016 #ad

Convenient Viewer to Access Videos

Videos recorded on the road can be accessed via the THINKWARE PC viewer or the THINKWARE Dashcam Mobile Viewer app. The THINKWARE PC Viewer allows you to view the recorded videos with time, speed, and location data on your PC or Mac computer. You may also use the application to configure the device, as well as access firmware upgrades.

With the THINKWARE Dashcam Mobile Viewer app, you can now view recorded footage on-the-go. The app allows you to manage your dash cam with Wi-Fi, view video real-time and download or delete videos with your smart phone.

The Thinkware Dash Cam F750 supports various recording modes that you can use according to your needs: Continuous Recording, Incident Recording, Parking Surveillance Mode and Manual Recording.

Continuous Recording

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

Incident Recording

The built-in G-Sensor detects impact to your car, automatically recording the 10 seconds prior to and after the impact, ensuring that you have the evidence that you need.

#Thinkware #Technology #CES #CES2016 #ad

Parking Surveillance Mode

The F750 supports a parking surveillance mode that monitors your vehicle when the ignition is off. A combination of motion detection and impact monitoring is used to protect your car from hit-and-run incidents.

Manual Recording

Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occurs in front of you. Use this feature to capture special moments, such as a falling meteor or a herd of bison crossing the road.

Automatic Switching between Parking Mode and Continuous Mode

After the ignition is turned off, the dash cam automatically switches to parking surveillance mode. While the dash cam is in parking surveillance mode, a combination of motion detection recording and incident recording is maintained to keep watch over your vehicle. When you start the engine, the dash cam will automatically switch back to continuous recording mode.

* The optional hardwiring cable supports automatic switching to the parking mode and motion detection recording function.

Anyone can activate and control the THINKWARE Dash Cam F750 easily with a few simple buttons and cable connection ports. Even if you are a first time user, you will not face any problem with installation and understanding the controls.

Anti-Vibration Mounting, No Blur Images

Small but mighty, the 3M adhesive mount ensures that your view of the road is clear, while eliminating vibration and windshield glare.

Compared to the suction cup mount, the 3M tape mount is easier to install and the device can be conveniently detached from and reattached to the mount. It has been proven to be the most secure method of dash cam installation.

Thermal Self-Protection, No Overheating

With the built-in thermal sensor, the F750 protects itself and the data recorded against intense heat by automatically turning off in extreme conditions to prevent overheating.

Fail-Safe Recording, No Data Loss

In the event of a power loss during an accident, the F750’s fail-safe recording uses the Super Capacitor to ensure that any recordings in progress are stored securely, so you can be sure that your data is safe.
