Our kids love to use technology! Whether it’s a laptop, tablet or smartphone, they are constantly using their electronics to watch videos, play games, read stories and connect with family. So what if they could connect with family and still enjoy reading, playing games and having video chats? The HomeTeam App makes that possible!

The HomeTeam App connects families across distances. Whether you’re looking to connect a child with his or her grandparents or with a traveling parent, HomeTeam offers the perfect solution. This new app allows families to easily connect with one another, whether it’s through reading book, playing games or video chatting with each other. With the HomeTeam App, you can turn tablet time into family time! Take part in activities your children love most. I love how easy it is to use the HomeTeam App!

The Reading materials are divided into categories, including Animal Adventures, Biographies, Early Learning, Folk Tales and Legends, Historical Fiction, Kid Adventures, Non-Fiction and Poems. The Books are also divided by Age, including Baby/Toddler, Preschool, K-2, 3rd-4th Grade and 5th-6th Grade. Some of our favorite books include Curious GeorgeFive Little Monkeys and a variety of Disney stories.

There are also a variety of games to choose from. Some of our favorites include Animal Match, Checkers, Crazy Eights, Go Fish, Robot Builder, Roller Coaster Builder and Tic Tac Toe. Once your child plays a game, he or she can add it to the Favorites tab, making it easier to find the next time the games section is opened.

You can download the HomeTeam App on your tablet or desktop. Once you download the app, you have a first-month free trial and then it’s a low monthly cost of $8.95 per month once the trial expires. You can share the HomeTeam App with up to five family members!

The HomeTeam App is available to  Download on Android and Download on iOS .

Who would you like your child to connect with using the HomeTeam App?

  10. I think this would be a great app for family members that rarely see each other. My daughter’s grandparents would be a must and a few aunts and uncles that live on the other side of the country. I love that this app offers new ways to connect, versus just talk time, such as playing games and reading. A great idea!
