Do Good & Use the Johnson & Johnson Donate a Photo App Today + Giveaway
I love to help others and was eager to participate when I heard about Johnson & Johnson’s Donate a Photo App! Every day, I find myself taking pictures – whether it’s of my family, nature, a product I love – the list goes on and on. What if you could take a picture and then send it in and find out you helped someone else in need – just by taking a picture? Johnson & Johnson Healthy Essentials is making it possible for us to help 3 different causes. You can help a newborn thrive with Save the Children; protect a child from a sports injury with Safe Kids Worldwide; or help restore a park with Keep America Beautiful.
I don’t know about you, but I find it very hard to choose just one to help. No worries because you can do all three!!! You can take one photo a day, every day, and help others in need as many times as you want! How awesome is that? So far, 1494 photos have been donated. This means that 687 newborns have been helped; 232 children protected from a sports injury; and 1 public park being restored.
ABOUT THE DONATE A PHOTO APP
Johnson & Johnson Healthy Essentials™ is excited to introduce Donate a Photo, the app that turns photos into a way to do good. For every photo shared through the app, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1* to a cause that people care about. All donations are measured in actions, from planting trees to feeding families to providing medicine for children in need. Donating is simple. Here is what you do:
1 – Download the free Donate a Photo app and register to get started.
2 – Choose a cause.
3 – Upload a photo.
4 – Share it on Facebook and Twitter to let friends know how they can help, too!
What I love about the Donate a Photo App Initiative is that when a cause reaches its goal, another takes its place. The causes that have reached their goal stay in the app, so users can continue to learn more about the organizations and see the photos that helped support them. I also love that the Donate a Photo App was developed for both iOS and Android platforms. While all donations much be made through a mobile device, the experience (including a photo gallery, progress achieved for each charity, etc.) will be accessible to anyone, on any device, from mobile phones to tablets to desktop computers.
