My First Experience as Maid of Honor

#Weddings #FrankAndShannon #WeddingWednesday

In my life, I’ve only been to a few weddings.  The first weddings I went to were when I was a little girl and they were the weddings of my mom and stepdad, as well as my dad and stepmom.  The next wedding I went to was my own at 20 years old and I was […]

Week 18 - Cerro San Luis

This week Arleena and I revisited Cerro San Luis (or San Luis Mountain). Back in week 12, Arleena and I made a wrong turn on this trail that only got us to the M on this mountain which about ¾ of the way up to the top. Needless to say we were a bit bummed […]

Our Family 2013

Our Life in Pictures (Throwback Thursday) – Christmas 2010

Today, Frank and I gave a beautiful roll top desk to a friend of ours for her daughter’s birthday.  To my surprise, I found an old Christmas picture of the boys with Santa when we first moved here to California.  You’ll notice that the only one in the picture with his eyes closed is Santa. […]

Our Life in Pictures – Santa Comes to Town

Santa Comes to Town

The boys love to dress up.  Whether it’s in their year-round (notice I don’t say Halloween) costumes or creating outfits, they love to use their imagination!  The other day, I was cooking dinner and Brian came into the kitchen dressed like Santa.  He put the outfit together!  I’m not even kidding people!   How to […]

Our Life In Pictures – Mommy Son Time

Mommy Son Time

The other night, Brian (my oldest son) went with me to pick up some Chinese food for dinner.  While waiting for the order we placed, we had some mommy son time.  The hostess served us some Jasmine Herbal Tea, which we sweetened with sugar and snacked on Fortune Cookies.  He was so happy and so […]

We live on the Central Coast and have a few Flea Markets near us – in Santa Maria, Nipomo and San Luis Obispo.  Frank and I have been to the one in San Luis Obispo once before (at the drive-in location), but it was right before they closed down on Sunday.  So we thought we […]

Frank and I went to a friend’s wedding this weekend and it was amazing!  I keep calling it a Princess Wedding.  We had a lot of fun and he was the most handsome Groomsmen in the Wedding Party!  Well, at the wedding, they had a Photo Booth and we were able to take silly photos […]

Wordless Wednesday – Carnival Inspiration

Carnival Inspiration 1

We went on a weekend vacation on the Carnival Inspiration Cruise departing from the Port of Long Beach to Ensanada, Mexico. Oh my gosh…it was so much fun! What a beautiful ship too! We bought this picture of us from the cruise line and have it framed in our room. It’s a good one!
