What’s Your Biggest Hair Challenge?

Most of my life, I’ve had curly hair.  When I was younger, nobody told me that you shouldn’t just brush curly hair.  Yeah – that’s what I did and a lot of the time, it looked like a frizzy mess.  It was in high school that a friend introduced me to hair mousse and gel.  Oh my gosh – what a difference!  Too bad it took most of my school years to figure out.

After having my boys, I was introduced to the concept of straightening my hair with a flat iron.  I loved it!!!!  It did take some time and I definitely needed to make sure I had a heat protecting hair product before applying the flat iron.  Dove® makes one that’s awesome!  Not only does it protect my hair, but it also leaves it shiny and healthy looking.  Sweet, right?

Right now, Dove® Hair and Walmart have teamed up to help tackle some of a mom’s biggest hair challenges, including getting curls without a curling iron, making color last and more.  You can check out videos on how to fix common hair issues and download a $1.50 coupon for Dove hair products after watching one of the videos.  Pretty sweet, right?  Plus, you can shop at Walmart for all your Dove® hair products at the best value.

What’s your biggest hair issue and how do you tackle it for beautiful hair?

My hair and I have a lot-hate relationship. Sometimes I wake up and It looks pretty good. Sometimes not so much. And I’m not a big one on doing my hair so most of the time what you see is what you get! I guess my biggest issue is it grows out too darn fast that it always looks so…frumpy.

I have the strangest hair… If I want I can make it wavy or if I straighten it, it looks nice. But naturally it is frizzy and wavy so with humidity it is a mess! I need the blowdryer and straightener and I MUST use conditioner!

I have dry hair. Personally I’m not a fan of those products, but that’s just me.
I put coconut oil in my hair for a day to give it moisture and do hydrating treatments. I use all natural toxic free shampoo, but coconut oil is great with whatever you choose to use :)
