“Old Dogs” DVD Review & Giveaway

Last night, we watched the movie, “Old Dogs.”  It was hilarious!  There were times I laughed so hard I cried!  Robin Williams and John Travolta did an amazing job!  It was really neat to see John Travolta’s family in the movie – including his wife (Kelly Preston) and his daughter (Emily Bleu Travolta) – and that the film was dedicated to his son who passed away. The cast did an amazing job and I am so happy to add this to our DVD collection. I know we’ll be watching it again soon, if not tonight! The special features were fun to watch as well. I loved the Deleted Scenes and Bloopers and on the Blu-ray disc is a music video with John Travolta and his daughter performing together. I highly recommend checking this one out!

Old Dogs – 3 Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack (Includes DVD + Digital Copy)” comes out on DVD this Tuesday, March 9th from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. Dan (Robin Williams) and his best friend and business partner Charlie (John Travolta) are on the verge of the biggest deal of their company’s history. However, things get interesting when Dan’s ex-wife Vicki (Kelly Preston) shares big news with him…2 pieces of big news actually! He meets his 7 year old twin children Zach (Conner Rayburn) and Emily (Ella Bleu Travolta) for the first time and plays dad for a few weeks. Little did he know how fond he would become of his new family and how his life would be changed by fatherhood. The movie also stars Cedric, Lori Loughlin, Matt Dillon, and Seth Green.

MY THOUGHTS

I thought this movie was hilarious and I am so glad I had the opportunity to review it. I think that the cast did a fantastic job in this movie and am happy to share it with my family and friends. I would love to see John Travolta and Robin Williams together in a movie again in the future!

For John Travolta it would have to be “Grease”. My family will watch it every time it comes on Cable.

For Robin Williams, “Mrs. Doubtfire”, is one of our families ultimate favorites and we quote it and laugh all the time.

These are two of my favorite actors of all time.
