She loved it and so did I - we were the only ones in the family who did, and she had moved in with us after my grandfather had passed away. Just reading your review brought back great memories of me sitting with her on her huge overstuffed rocking chair crying every week during the show. Then I watched every movie by myself because she had passed when they came out and no one else in the family would watch. Thanks for a great review and for making me smile. When there's nothing we really want to watch on TV, it's always nice to have these on hand to watch. We still enjoy them, and probably always will. Being a Baptist doesn't hurt either. Actually my husband makes fun of me and calls me Grandma Walton sometimes. I think he's letting me know I'm being pretty straight-laced about some issues at times by saying this.
