Aloha Friday #41

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday! Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life, I participate in Aloha Friday each Friday!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

What is your favorite pasta dish?

I love white clam sauce!  However, if I’m cooking it, I make a mean spaghetti sauce with meatballs :) .

Spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna and this other dish I make. Ready? It’s easy

Find Owen’s Italian breakfast sausage and brown it up like hamburger meat. Drain grease, add diced tomatoes (canned or fresh your call), a 16 oz can of tomato sauce, garlic salt, italian seasonings like oregano! If you want some kick you can add one small can of Mild Rotel. At the same time stove top cook a bag of bow tie pasta or wacky noodle pasta, you pick! Mix the meat sauce and pasta together and top with Mozzarella cheese.

Dinner is served! It’s really yummy.

I love a little bit of pasta these days with a ton of veggies on top. Of course, we also put Morning Star burger crumbles on for some protein.

White sauces of any kind. I am not the biggest fan of red sauces. So…when I eat out it is either alfredo, garlic sauces, lemon cream sauces, etc. You get the idea :)

I like anything with gnocci in it. I also love the Olive Garden’s Chicken Giardino – not sure if they have it anymore.
