Great Gallon Give Coming to Seattle (and Giveaway)
If you live in Seattle and love milk, you’ll want to attend the Great Gallon Give happening in Seattle Center this Saturday, January 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. With the start of a New Year, milk processors all over the country want to make it easier for America’s moms to set the table with milk and build strong families in 2010!
Are you familiar with the National Milk Mustache “Got Milk” Campaign? Well, they’ll be stopping in 20 cities across the country during a week long initiative called the “Great Gallon Give,” where there will be hundreds of thousands of gallons of milk – equivalent to more than 3 million servings – given away, to help raise awareness of the important role milk plays in building strong families. I’m so excited that Seattle is one of the chosen cities! Woo hoo!
During the Great Gallon Give, you can:
- Learn more about how Seattle residents’ participation in the Great Gallon Give can help your local food bank, Local Lifeline
- Speak with a registered dietician on the health benefits of milk
- Receive a one of 200,000 gallons of free milk at Seattle Center
- Sample milk from local Seattle dairies (go Smith’s Brothers!!)

I enjoy it cold with cookies
I like chocolate milk with a fried egg sandwich and cheese crackers or cheese puffs.
I like my milk cold in a glass and have some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with it!
