My Good News is I started my Christmas Shopping and got my daughter’s main “Santa” gift out of the way. YEAH for me, and the holiday season.
Also with the time change–I don’t have to walk to work in the dark anymore.
My good news is that my kids Pediatrician finally has regular flu shots in! (Out for 3 weeks). So not only are we getting those today, but they also got the nose spray so no shots!!!
Sad thing to be excited about but I am!!!
My good news is that found a place to sell some of my kids’s old outgrown toys (consignment shop) and they are selling like hot cakes! we will use the proceeds to buy Christmas presents this year whch is helpful when money is TIGHT.

My good news is that my husband has a job interview tomorrow!!

The Good News Is My Wedding Anniversary Falls On Thanksgiving This Year, so I have lots to be Thankful For!
My good news…
Today, we celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary!
Although the hubby is in Afghanistan and can not be here, he was still able to call on skype, so I got to see him and talk to him!
Not as good as him being here in person, but it was still wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the girls in my family were able to go out to lunch yesterday for my mom’s birthday. We haven’t been out to a resturant with everyone since last year. We ate yummy fajitas and pina coladas.
My good news is that my room is freshly painted and I LOVE it
Now I just need to find me a dresser…
My new vacuum just arrived!
The kids and I went on a wonderful three hour walk and there was no yelling, no “i’m bored”s, hair pulling or headbutting. It was nothing but fun and learning and exercise. It was a fantastic afternoon.
My son worked so hard in his first year of football. (Freshman)
He wanted this shirt that said. “B.Y.A.” (Bring your A-game)….
He got it!!!!
Monday after practice he got it with the name tag “Solomon Grundy” (I guess that is his football name, it is the arch nemesis to the Incredible Hulk. My son is a beast. 6ft 2in, 225pds… 14 years old… HUGe!)
He was so happy… he came home wearing it, and then wandered around hugging it and smiling all night!
It brought tears to my eyes to finally see my quiet kid in the roll he’s always wanted to be in.. he’s got friends and hangs out with the football team now.. it’s awesome!
My son, Nikolaus, who is being deployed to Afghanistan on 11/15, WILL be able to visit me before he has to leave!! We didn’t think he would have the time, or us the money, to get him down here, but between the airline’s military discount and his employer giving him time off, and lots of prayer, everything has worked out and he will be here next week for a few days. YIPPEE!!!!
